Tania Two-Strap Heel in Natural
Minimalist block heels that can take you from day to night. The Tania 2-Strap Heel features two single strap braided abaca rope, cushioned lambskin leather insoles, and a 2" natural wooden block heel.
This piece uses handwoven abaca, the strongest of all natural fibers. As a sustainable fiber native to the Philippines, abaca is highly durable, flexible, and resistant to salt water damage.
The wooden block heel is made of mango wood, a strong and sustainable byproduct of the mango tree. Mango trees usually lose their fruit bearing capacity after 15 to 20 years, after which the wood is harvested for other uses. Due to characteristics in the richly-grained wood, small knots and cracks and color variations are natural and add character to each piece.
Sizes run big for this style. We recommend going a size down if you are in between sizes or have narrow feet.
• Handwoven abaca rope upper
• Cushioned lambskin leather insole
• Soft leather lining
• 2" natural wooden heel
• Rubber sole
Care: Leather protector is recommended before use.
All our products are individually handmade, thus no two pieces are exactly the same. Slight variations are inherent in the methods and natural materials used. These are not product flaws, but are considered minor distinctions that make this piece special and one-of-a-kind.
INNÉ, which means "innate," "inborn," and "natural" in French, is a slow-fashion brand that began in 2018 to promote local products that make use of natural materials and traditional techniques found in the Philippines.
INNÉ is about keeping age-old traditions relevant, breathing new life into them, and recreating them into modern-day essentials.
INNÉ was born out of a desire to bring back the appreciation for slowly and carefully handcrafted pieces by local artisans using raw, natural materials and traditional techniques.
The brand aims to support ethical practices and provide livelihood opportunities by partnering with small families and communities, and ultimately, keeping the quality and art of Filipino craftsmanship alive.
The brand makes a conscious effort to minimize their impact to the environment through their production and packaging processes. INNÉ sources as many sustainable materials as possible from the Philippines and are careful to only produce pieces to meet demand, in small, meaningful quantities.
